What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site.

- First party cookies are cookies set by the website you’re visiting. Only that website can read them. In addition, a website might potentially use external services, which also set their own cookies, known as third-party cookies.
- Persistent cookies are cookies saved on your computer that are not deleted automatically when you quit your browser, unlike a session cookie, which is deleted when you quit your browser.

Every time you visit our website, you will be prompted to accept or refuse cookies.

The purpose is to enable the site to remember your preferences (such as user name, language, etc.) for a certain period of time.

That way, you don’t have to re-enter them when browsing around the site during the same visit.

Cookies can also be used to establish anonymized statistics about the browsing experience on our sites.

How do we use cookies?
We may place a number of cookie files in your web browser when you access and use the Service.

We use cookies for the following purposes:
- To activate certain Service functions;
- To offer analytics;
- To store your preferences;
- To allow notice distribution;
- For marketing purposes.

We use session cookies and persistent cookies as part of the Service and we use different types of cookies in order to provide the Service:

Essential Cookies: These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you that amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but that will cause some parts of the site to not work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.

Performance Cookies: These cookies (the Supplier uses Google Analytics) allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you have visited our site and we will not be able to monitor its performance.

To view an overview of the privacy of your Google Analytics cookies please go here:  https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies

You may install a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on by going here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Marketing Cookies: We also use a Facebook/Meta pixel. The Facebook pixel is a piece of code that we place on our website. It collects data that helps us track conversions from Facebook ads, optimize ads, build targeted audiences for future ads and remarket to people who have already taken some kind of action on our website.

From time to time, cookies set by third parties find their way into this “Marketing” category, but the Supplier does not always have control over those cookies and does not share personal data with those third parties.

Third Party Website Cookies: When using our website, you may be directed to other websites for such activities as surveys, to make payments in currency other than Euros, and to view content hosted on those sites such as an embedded video or news article. These websites may use their own cookies. We do not have control over the placement of cookies by other websites you visit, even if you are directed to them from our website.

Some of our pages display content from external providers, e.g. YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

To view this third-party content, you first have to accept their specific terms and conditions. This includes their cookie policies, which we have no control over.

But if you do not view this content, no third-party cookies are installed on your device.
